As leaders, we need to make sure that we get what we need to “recharge.”

Make sure you get enough sleep. Eat foods that keep you happy and healthy. Relax in a hammock, or take the dog for a run, or build something in your woodshop.

If you are rested and recharged, you will be able to give 100% when you are on-duty. If you are running on fumes, you’ll be distracted and unfocused, and it will drain you further.

Be the best version of yourself by taking care of yourself. And encourage your people to do the same.
