There was a story in the Boston Globe this morning about a school project.
The kids in a fifth-grade class built a little boat more than a year ago to study ocean currents. It had a GPS tracker, and they were able to follow it and see where it ended up. It’s a cool little feel-good story that caught my attention.
There are leadership lessons in this story, however.
The things we put out into the world may travel far. We might not even know the people we may eventually impact.
When we want to connect with other people, we need to craft the vessel of our communication well.
The world has plenty of things in it that will stress you out. Take the time to enjoy a few little feel-good stories when they come across your path (or wash up on your shoreline).
