We're Going To Get Through This

So much better than "We're all doomed!"

People want to follow someone who has a plan. It’s much more inspiring to hear how great things will be once the goal is met than, “I dunno. What do you think we could do?”

Give your people courage. Help them work the problems. Offer a path forward, but also be open to hearing from your people on ways to improve it. Give them the reassurance that it will all be okay in the end.
