Don't spread yourself too thin

If you want to have a significant impact, focus your attention on the people and things that matter.

Mentor a few people in-depth; you won’t have enough bandwidth to make a difference if you have 30 mentees.

Prioritize important projects; don’t let the 300 emails you get every day consume all your time.

Make a conscious choice about what matters now and what can wait. Put the priorities on your schedule and/or set reminders to get to them.
