Bring a positive attitude. Give feedback that motivates your people. Show them respect and value their contributions. Compensate them fairly.
If you develop this for your people, they will respond with a “we get to go to work today!” mindset, rather than a “we have to go to work today” one. Bring out the best in them authentically, rather than complaining that you don’t have it.
