The best way to keep up morale is to make sure your people feel respected and fulfilled with what they are doing.
Give them effective feedback that focuses on getting them to be motivated and stay motivated.
Listen when they talk.
Share a vision of where you and the team are going and how each of them can choose to be part of it.
Make sure they have a purpose, as well as a paycheck. And make sure that paycheck is competitive with what they could make with other firms.
