Set them up for success with training and coaching.
Provide opportunities for them to take on more and grow as professionals.
And make sure you validate them for those successes — for good efforts, for good progress, for good attitudes, for good collaboration, etc.
Any day is a good day to give positive feedback. Fridays are especially good, though, since they set your people up for a recharging weekend.
