Leading Change

Leaders need to take their people from where they are now to where they need to be.
The first step is recognizing that a change is needed. If you see that something is wrong, then don’t just ignore or tolerate it and hope it goes away. Figure out what would be better and develop a vision of what success would look like. Figure out the main steps that you and your team will need to take to get there. And then share that vision and that plan with a few people whose judgement you trust and get their input and improvements for the plan (because sometimes the plan for changing will need some changes!). Once you all agree that you have the best way to move forward, roll it out to the full group and start implementation.
