The story goes like this:
I was in a job interview.
The man asked me to show him an example of leadership skills.
"OK," I replied. "I'm hired."
Yes, confidence helps people see your leadership abilities. So, consider what helps you feel confident. Some people need the connection to the team; some people need to develop knowledge or expertise; some people need to pre-think the options or plan out the steps. Figure out what helps you feel that sense of “I’ve got this—I can handle it.”
Make sure you are getting what you need in order to actually BE more confident—don’t just fake it.
