Forbes had a wonderful article that I highly recommend for leaders and aspiring leaders.
Many of their recommendations involve treating people well—your team members, your clients, and yourself. This requires emotional intelligence—we need to be able to read people. What do they need to feel respected? To buy-in? To feel confident in a plan? To feel confident in themselves? One size does not fit all.
Give people what they need to feel valued, respected, appreciated, and confident in success, and you will be respected and successful yourself.
