I hope your employer recognizes Juneteenth as a paid holiday, a day of reflection, or a day of service.
If you are old enough to remember using a payphone to get a ride home from the mall, then this holiday probably isn’t something you grew up observing, but it’s worth taking the lead in observing it now. Look it up and be inspired!
Juneteenth is a holiday in the US to acknowledge the end of slavery. That’s worth celebrating.
