Leaders need to be trustworthy.
Be honest. Don’t take more than your share—don’t take more than your share of the credit for a big success… or the doughnuts in the break room.
Your intentions matter. Would you rather follow a leader who looks to succeed as a team, someone who takes actions to keep your people employed and your clients delighted? Or would you want to follow a “leader” who does not care what happens to you or the client, as long as they get their selfish reward?
Be the kind of leader you would choose to follow.
