Building off of yesterday’s topic, this meme has been making the rounds again.
As leaders, we need to walk the walk. We need to give 100% if we are asking others to give 100%.
This doesn’t mean we do everything. Delegate tasks to people who have expertise. Delegate to people who bill at a lower hourly rate than you (to save the client’s budget). Delegate to people to help them develop their professional skills. Delegate so that you have the time to do the things that only YOU can do… and then give your best efforts on those components to help the team achieve success.
