When motivating people, we need to reach THEM. The things that motivate us may or may not have the same impact on others.
Give each person the inspiration that will motivate them. Some people want the challenge—they want something to overcome, something they can win against the odds. Some people want to have an impact on the lives of others—they want to know that they have made the world a better place. Some people want the reassurance that they are doing the right thing—they want to live up to high standards and principles.
Know your audience. Know what matters to them. If you do this, you can help people find motivation and inspiration in large or small activities.
