As leaders, we need to set the course for our people, and we need to convey our plans in ways that let our people know: “It’s going to be great!” or “We’re all going to get through this.” or “We’ve got this,” etc.

We need to give our people courage. We need to give our people reassurance. We need to let our people know we have a plan and it’s going to work. We need to let them know we have their backs.
