“A world of regret awaits you at Mammoth Cave!”
National Parks are there for everyone. But they are not for everyone.
Some people value cell-phone service over natural beauty. And they post reviews about that.
Mammoth Cave National Park just turned lemons into lemonade. They had a bunch of “meh” reviews, and they flipped the script to create an ad that appeals to the right customers.
If you have had customers that wanted “something different” than what you provided, you can, of course adapt to meet their needs. But you can also reframe the marketplace and target the potential customers who will be delighted with what you do best. Sometimes it’s not you; it’s them.
