It might not feel comfortable, but are you able to speak your mind with coworkers?
Being able to discuss things openly, even when you disagree on the issues or the potential solutions, is important to keeping your company healthy and relevant.
Don’t be a “yes man,” a “yes woman,” a “yes person.” Ask your team members to kick the tires on the ideas you propose and possibly even “play devil’s advocate” by looking for places where things might go wrong.
If you see there might be a problem, say something. You might choose to do it one-on-one, but don’t stay silent. You might choose to also include a possible workaround, since many people find the “don’t come to me with problems; come to me with solutions” style less threatening and/or demotivating.
But speak up.
