Good Ideas

Good ideas can come from anywhere. Don’t miss them when they do.

Capture your own inspirations by taking written or audio notes. “I’m sure I’ll remember” is a trap.

Have an open-door policy with your team. Be generous with giving proper credit when you use someone’s idea. It makes that person feel respected, and they will be more likely to come to you with more ideas in the future.

Consider going around the room at meetings to get individual opinions on a potential plan or change. Encourage your people to improve your ideas.
