Do Something

You’re not going to make everybody happy—you’re not Girl Scout cookies.

Instead, do the right thing. Do what needs to be done. Make the tough calls. Stand up for the truth and what is right. Protect your people.

Will you be criticized? Probably.

But it’s better to be criticized for doing the best you can. People who stay silent and do nothing when they have the power to act are not great leaders. Effective leaders rally their people to action when something needs to be done. They work to make good things happen and to stop bad things from happening.

Take the heat and keep on cooking!
