I enjoy a sarcasm and snark. It’s funny and clever.
But being nice gets you farther with more people. And rudeness is not appreciated by ANYONE who is on the receiving end. So, I recommend that people who want to grow their leadership influence with others need to remember to say please, say thank you, ask politely instead of barking orders, and keep the sarcasm on a leash.
Be authentic, but make the behavior choices in communication that will earn and keep the respect of your team.
