Do you back up your business documents to the cloud or to an external drive?
You DO back them up, right? Frequently, right?
I don’t know who needs to hear this, but back up your laptop.
If you take your computer with you between locations, it could be dropped or lost along the way. If you leave it in your office, it could be stolen or damaged if there is a fire, flood, or other problem in that location.
If you have backups in a second location, you are protected from ransomware that locks your files until you pay.
Make sure your people are backing up their work frequently, as well.
