What signals are you sending to your people?
Do you project positivity and encouragement to your people?
Or do you look anxious? Or angry? Or disappointed? Do you have RBF?
Consider body language and facial expressions as the “subtext” of the message you give your people. Know what signals you are sending them. Make a conscious choice to “warm up” when delivering good news and to give encourage people coming to you. Don’t let a furrowed brow undermine the influence of your communication.
